It's been a strange, rough couple of months for our intrepid villagers — Bunkers, superpowers and clones, oh my! Perhaps the Observers are sympathetic to their plight, or maybe they just have a peculiar sense of humor. At any rate, they've set up a gathering space chalk full of summer camp goodness, no strings attached. Not that anyone knows that part.

Just before sunset, a cheery message pops up on wrist devices all across the settlement and beyond. The instructions seem simple enough, although one does have to wonder at what dubious gift awaits them all after everything is said and done.

Marshmallows are on the house, so grab yourself a stick, strap on a sash and get to roasting, villagers. Skinny dipping, sing-alongs and friendship bracelets optional.

"I can only imagine a city named Gotham has more of a vampire problem than were-things," says Wynonna with a look of comedic overthought.
"This honestly isn't that different from home. Spooky woods, things that will eat you. It was just that I mostly chose to be there. Mostly."

Cursed with responsibility to be there and choosing not to abandon her family. At least, not for a second time.

"Oh no," she says brightly, "our problems are almost exclusively human. The worst is a mass-murdering psychotic clown." She doesn't want anybody to go around underestimating just how shitty Gotham can be.

"I'll take were-whatevers over getting caught in a drive-by any day."

"I'm honestly amazed Purgatory still hasn't gotten a creepy clown. But those trends do tend to make it to Canada a little later." The 80s didn't make it up there 'til 1993, after all. And Pennywise will get to Toronto way before he makes it to the Ghost River Triangle.

"Purgatory is in Canada?"

"The aptly-named town, yes," Wynonna says, immediately assuming Gotham is in the US going by the way Stephanie said Canada. "I'd say we have the worst name in the country, but Dildo, Nova Scotia still wins that one."

She snorts a laugh.

"I would have thought it'd be in Jersey, but I forgot that's where Hell should be. As city names go, you gotta admire Dildo for sticking to their guns."

"You said it, Sunshine," Wynonna agrees. "C'mon, let's see about some of those marshmallows. I can toast those bitches like no one's business."

"Oh heck yes." There's real enthusiasm in her voice as she jumps up to fetch more s'mores supplies. She was not kidding about the s'mores.
