[MINGLE] Glitches: Locked In
The Inn is still a place that most of the villagers gather and, as such, a perfect place to conduct an experiment. Since it is a place of high traffic, it is not uncommon to see people come and go at all hours of the day and night; men and women come through to eat meals, to deliver game and simply to talk and catch up with others. If there's any bit of news or a new development within the village, it always spreads through the Inn like wildfire.
So what happens when the Inn is locked away from everyone else? What happens when the doors cease to work and the traffic in and out of the myriad doors is forcibly stopped for an afternoon and evening? Chaos? Panic? Both? Neither? That is precisely the hypothesis being tested today.
There are ways out, yes, but they're cleverly hidden. The keys are not in the normal, visible places they should be kept and each key fits a certain door. Additionally, those doors have to be opened in a certain order or nothing is going to happen.
How long will it take for the Inn to open up to the public again?

He frowned. That wasn't going to happen now either and that left him annoyed as well. If asked, Steve would agree that their sanity was important and whether it was drawing or being physical, whatever they needed to do to keep their sanity should take priority. Maybe not top, but up there.
"Guess that means we'll need to find other ways to keep busy in the time being." Tilting his head he watches the people through the window for a moment. "Think any of those keys they're looking for are out here?"

Clary fiddled with one of the straps at her side, her daggers were a good defense and offense though they didn't do much in this sort of situation.
"I have no idea. It isn't easy to communicate with those inside but judging from their expressions-" She squinted towards the window. "I'm not hopeful. Do you have something in mind when you say keep busy or is it a general statement?"

Of all things, Steve hates feeling useless and at the moment, that's pretty much how he feels being locked out. Looking around town he also realizes that searching for a key would take days if not weeks in areas that he doesn't necessarily have complete access to. And really if it comes to having to search out here, it would be better to just break a window.
Looking back over at Clary he replays his last words in his head before answering. "General statement. I had planned to chop some trees but..." He shrugs. "Any suggestions?"

"I have no idea. I threw a rock at the window but it didn't break." Much like Steve, she hated feeling useless. It was like an uncomfortable itch beneath her skin. She craved some sort of activity to help distract her it but nothing came to mind. She had felt this way against the Shadowhunters and it seems in the months she's been trapped in this village nothing's changed. She can fight against things but it won't always help.
"I say wait until they find a key and unlock the door. Who knows how long that will take." She still wasn't happy about it.

"Well, I don't imagine you want to sit out here till then. You're welcome to come back to my place in the meantime. I share a house in the other village with my sister and best friend." The words are out without thinking but he honestly doubts that either Mary or Danny will mind. Chances are both would have made the same offer if they had been there in his place.
He shrugs. "It's not much but we've got food and it's warm."
