March 1st-21st, Weapons and Such!
Leonardo will have quietly informed people who requested weapons of him that they are done through March! The Assassins in particular will be privately reached out to about the hidden blades and told to come pick them up. After those particular requests are fulfilled, Leonardo will put a little wooden sword out front of the forge pointing inside, and put it out there in the public knowledge that blades can be found inside.
His forge is fairly scattered as Leonardo himself is always working on about ten projects at the same time. There's wood stockpiled along with his steel and iron, and there's a row of a few knives and a few swords to the side. The artist is almost always there, day and night, or he is out front finishing up the boat to the bunker pod. It's a rather simple looking place for now, outside of flowers that have been drawn in charcoal on the wall.
[you can assume that your character requested something before and wants to pick it up now, or you can just IC from now on assume that your character has the item they want!]
March 13th-20th, Powers Abound
Leonardo cannot help his curiosity when he realizes there are powers that people can just pick up. As someone who has only recently gotten comfortable with his own, he's fascinated. He spends a great deal of time thinking about what he wants, and resolves to try all of them eventually. For now though, he goes with what he's been longing for: warmth! Certain that it is too dangerous to try them in the bunker, he travels back to the village and goes a safe distance away to test them out.
The first two days are not great. He can't seem to get the fire to stop being on his fingertips, and he accidentally shoots fire near a tree, but it doesn't set fire, which is good as he would start to panic. Instead it hits rocks, so phew. As the week progresses he gains more control of it and can be seen playfully making patterns in the sky with the flames, especially late at night where he can be seen like a beacon,
Powers Abound and picking up things
Except there is a distraction in that trek. The sight of fire along the sky. Fire that forms shapes and lights up the sky. Changing his direction, heading for the fire.
"Dear Lord in Heaven, tell me we do't have ice mice again," he growls, remembering the damage they had caused. Except it's apparently not mice, just a man enjoying himself.
Which is exactly what Jacob had done when he'd first arrived with that ability. Shit. It might be mice.
"Leonardo?"
no subject
He's smiling when he glances over to Jacob, the fire still maintaining in the sky from his will power for now. "I went to the bunker and found this skill. It is incredible!" His eyes are bright. "There are several others, I'll have to try them next." He fully plans on going through the list.
no subject
"So this isn't what they gave you when you came here?" He's heard of the machine, but not felt secure enough to use it without fearing it a templar trick. Or worse, that he might become smitten with using the ability and give too much for it if they ever came asking a price.
Weapons and such
Some had mentioned a forge to the north, and without much else to do, he started the hike upwards to the other village to see if it is true and he can at least solve one of the problems.
Entering the forge, he pauses to let his eyes adjust. "Hello? Anyone here?"
no subject
"Yes, hello, can you do me a favor?" Leonardo's very friendly and active, soot on his face and sweating slightly, but otherwise full of energy. He has his longish hair tied back out of the way, and he waves at Diego. His accent is very clearly Italian for anyone who recognizes it. "Hold this knife and tell me what you think of the balance. I think I corrected it, but ...." He is his own worst critic. All of his weapons are perfect once they are done, but he still questions.

Then the request is made and Diego breaks out into a full fledged grin. "It'll be my pleasure," he says, stepping in to take up the knife. He holds it for a moment, turning it this way and that as he looks at it before he begins to back away.
He moves suddenly, swift slices and spins, giving the knife a toss and and catching it by the handle to make another slashing thrust. There's an easy grace despite the loss of his ability, enjoying the moment that left him feeling a bit as if he was still himself.
"It's got a beautiful weight, and the handle is made for the curve of fingers and palm," he says with a nod. "If it is being used with a possibility for chopping, I would leave it just as it is. If it was going to be used for throwing or merely in combat? You could maybe lessen the spine a bit, or add a fuller, but it wouldn't be as stable for chopping then, would it?"

She gets to the forge soon enough, and before long, she's practically barging her way in. She hasn't set foot in the place before now, and as she opens her mouth to say something (likely demand her weapon(s) from Leonardo), she stops herself to do a quick scan of the place. It's what she'd expect, given its title of "forge." Nothing overtly interests her, so she's hastily making her way towards the Father of Invention.
"Leo! Hey! I got your message. What d'you got?"
no subject
"Rosa!" He is so delighted to see her, blue eyes bright, clapping his hands. Normally he would go for a hug, but she is not the hugging type, and he also is not clean. "I am really hoping you will like these." Leonardo doesn't just make them sloppily, he puts energy and thought into it if it's for someone special. He considered her weight and height with it. He goes immediately to pick up the three items he made for her and comes back, offering them out.
One is an axe as requested, better as a hand held one than anything tall, and he is quite proud of it. "I made the grip firmer so it would be impossible to slip out of your hand if you have a good hold." It looks very shiny and new because it is, of course, exactly that. He also gives her two throwing knives based on a design Ezio had before.
Forge!
Relative.
And he really didn't like getting caught out with his hands tied. So he was going to come see what this Leonardo guy had to offer. A simple sword would do, he knew there wasn't going to be anyone able to make a gunblade here. After arriving he rapped his knuckles loudly on the door as he let himself inside, eyes scanning for the lone smith. "Hey! Anybody home?"
no subject
"Hello, I am Leonardo!" He was cheerful, long dark hair pulled out of his face while he worked by a band. "Are you in need of something?" The swords and knives laid out to the side were easy to see, although he had others off to the side that were specially designed for requests.

Well, if the man was skilled he wasn't going to complain one way or another. "Hey," A pause, still trying to get his bearings. Unaccustomed to such energetic and friendly greetings. "Er, Seifer. Seifer Almasy. You're the new smith in town, yeah?" Leonardo had thrown him so off his footing he initially forgot what he was there for. "I heard you're willing to make weapons," Which, upon glancing over he definitely noticed the stock which he nodded at. "What d'you charge for a sword?"

Still dressed in the magenta scrubs and coat, Kalen cautiously made his way inside. He did not like the idea of the yelling in an unknown area but he did not want anyone to think he was sneaking up on them. Temporizing in his tone he called out;
"Are you open for business?"
no subject
"Hello, yes, I am." His dark hair was tied loosely back. "I have general swords and knives if you want to take any of them, but I can do more specific work if you like." Leonardo did create generic blades so that anyone could pick them up if there was need, but they were not his best as they weren't crafted with quite as much care.
no subject
"I am only looking for a well-balanced sword."
As far as this place went it was almost boring. Kalen gravitated toward the blades that were already offered on display.
"They aren't making blades at all at the Blacksmith in South Village. My guess is that you are going to get a lot of business."
Powers!
Even if just the thought of that made him stop mid-step. He hated late-occurring realisations. He really did. Damn it, Sereda.
But he shook his head, pulling himself out of it, and cleared his throat before asking, "Having fun?" with a smile on his face. Leonardo made him happy, even if memories weren't pleasant.
no subject
He glanced over at the throat clearing, and the smile on his face when he saw Alistair was as bright as the fire itself. His heart still beat faster when he saw that handsome face or heard his voice, and he dropped his hands for a moment. "I have been trying to design a dragon for you, but it may be too grand for even my mind. I am determined!" He'll buy another week of powers if he must to get it right.
Leoardno was not shy about walking over to his new romantic partner and taking his hand, lifting it to his mouth for a sweet kiss on the knuckles. "I am having fun yes, but having you near is always better."
no subject
Alistair shook his head at himself, smile remaining as he looked to Leonardo's eyes. "You just. Pop into my head all the time. Even when all I'm doing is prospecting the trees. But that's beside the point. I promise you don't have to make a dragon for me. I'm quite happy with cats and rabbits. They have smaller teeth."
the forge but NOT for weapons
Once she started thinking about it, she'd realised how absurd it was that she'd hiked south to the farm but had never even been to their village mirror in the north. But Maine and Wash live out here, and he'd told her that there was a second forge in operation now -- so she's come out to take a peek at it, and see how it differs from Tony's domain and her other home-away-from-home. So she stands outside, boot scuffing in the dirt as she admires the partly-finished boat for a while (remembering fishing trips back home, summer boat parties right off the coast of Gothenburg), before venturing inside.
The charcoal flowers are a nice touch, and they make a smile bloom on her face.
"Hello?"

Boat Work
"Morning," he calls out, slowing his pace to come to a stop by Leonardo, taking a moment to catch his breath. "What you working on?"
Thanks For Weapons
Plus this was a forge he could walk into without feeling awkward. He stepped into the heat and warmth of the building and let his eyes look over the space as he waits for sign of the weaponsmith.
"Leonardo?" he calls out. "Where are you?"
Powers Abound
And with a smile he approaches his friend, an extra tongue of fire hanging near his head to serve as light.
"Seems you've grown to appreciate a bit of what I've been enjoying."
Kniiiiivessssssssss
He'd been suspicious that anyone would make such an offer without attaching any strings to it, of course, but that would be a bridge he'd find a way around crossing when necessary. He'd be foolish to pass up the opportunity to get the measure of a man who would put out a call to arm strangers so unhesitatingly, especially if Loki stood to make himself a useful ally. If things in this place continue as they have, Loki thinks he may need more than just a few throwing knives.
The forge is as Loki expects, which is to say that it's nothing short of what he assumes is a study in organized chaos. Loki has no skill for this kind of work himself but it isn't beyond him to appreciate the finished product from those who do. The process, however?
Decidedly not suited to his preferences.
He's brought the wood he promised upon their conversation over the network, a neat bundle wrapped in twine that he sets near the stockpile the forge has already amassed, and Loki takes a moment, surveying the various piles of what he can only assume are materials to be crafted into something useful, the scattered tools, the finished weapons and the flowers drawn on the wall, before raising his voice enough to carry to wherever the man may be hiding, "I hope this isn't a poor time."
