Every night my dream's the same | Same old city with a different name (OTA)
WHO: Loki Odinson
WHERE: North and South village
WHEN: Backdated roughly between March 07 to March 16. He'll be spending the first five-ish days in North Village before travelling back to South Village again.
OPEN TO: OTA for all prompts!
WARNINGS: A little bit of (as of now)innocent nudity while Loki soaks in the hot spring. Will update as needed!
On the Road
There's never a shortage of strange happenings in this place, it seems, and while on the whole Loki has certainly dealt with stranger, more dangerous things it's-- interesting the way it manifests here. Normally he'd risk the statement that he's happy to suffer plenty when it doesn't involve him being kidnapped to places unknown with persons he's less than enthused to forfeit his time to, but he's already shed enough blood to this land and all the beasts it contains within it to feel too eager to tempt fate.
Not that he doesn't tempt it well enough all the same by taking to the road that connects the two villages, a moving target to entice any number of dangers both known and unknown to this place, but Loki can only stand to stay in one place so long before it rakes at him like a fist full of nettles against his skin.
But the solitude of the quiet road brings a certain measure of comfort that he's grateful for, and he hadn't realized how much the bustle of the South Village had been biting at him until he'd stepped far enough away to lose the noise of it. He isn't foolish enough to think he can entirely relax; there are dangerous creatures here, after all, and a keen eye for any that may be brazen enough to come for what looks like easy prey is the difference between making it to the next village in one piece or not at all, but--
But sometimes even a keen eye can't make sense of what's before him. Or, rather, above him. There's something-- somethings floating in the air not unlike a flock of birds, and the hair on the back of his neck raises when Loki realizes they're moving towards him.
North Village
Loki's curiosity often gets the best of him and it really isn't any surprise that he takes to keeping himself occupied after his visit to the forge by kicking around the village as discreetly as a newcomer can manage to see if he can dig out anything interesting. Over the next handful of days he takes up temporary residence in house 66 and can be found coming and going from the inn, snooping around the fountain, and even taking a trip out to the peach grove to give it a once over.
Of course it's hard for him not to end up in places he shouldn't be and should he be found nosing around the barn he certainly has no business in to take a couple peeks at the curious animals he finds housed there.
South Village & Hot Spring
All in all, Loki returns to the South Village in much better spirits than he left it in, but being better armed does tend to have that effect on him. Not that it stops him at all from a trip into the inn to help himself to one a bottle of liquor--however loosely applied that word may be to the liquid capped and waiting for whoever dares attempt to drink it-- before he's off again.
To say it's been a long week is nothing short of an understatement when it doesn't feel as if the dust has had a moment to settle around him since he arrived and now, he thinks, is as good a time as any to see for himself if the rumored abilities of the hot spring hold true. If anyone expects modesty from Loki they may be in for a rude awakening-- he's nude beneath the water's surface as a matter of practicality and certainly more relaxed than most have ever seen him.

North Village: Barn
The interior has been well sectioned off, with a pen for the growing chicks in one corner, stalls for both kirins and a groffle calf that snuffled and lowed as it tried to get the attention of the newcomer, and two goat kids bouncing about in a shared pen. Outside the barn someone has started splitting logs for a pen, so they would have a place to turn them out when the weather got nicer.
After a moment the figure of another filled the doorway, changing the light within as Bobo clears his throat.
"All we ask is you not kill them for dinner. They're not butcher stock. Though I should start keeping animals for butchering. Start preparing for next winter."
Hot Spring
She also knew that loss was as much a part of life as anything else. Her life, anyway. She couldn't let loss stop her, conquer her, hold her back from what she needed to do. Or how she needed to feel.
So she figured it was time to let go. To say goodbye.
How to go about doing that was another matter, but she'd seen enough TV in her life to get it into her head to pour one out for her homies, as it were.
Well, Danny, anyway.
Grabbing a bottle from her stockpile, Sam headed out to the hot springs. She figured it was an appropriate place as any. They'd connected there and it wasn't like he had a grave for her to visit. But as she approached, she saw something blindingly white in the water. She had company. And suddenly felt more than a little awkward.
Hot Springs
And, muscles sore, North returns later in the day. He offers the man he finds there a brief nod before stripping down and slipping into the water. At least he isn't staring at the guy too much. Yet.
Hot Spring
"Hey." It's purely introductory, alerting to his presence and imminent entrance to the pool, because it's only polite to let someone know you're there, undressing and getting in the water with them.
