Des and Bull had taken some time to find the right spot for their new brewery, but Des had been right, The inn in the North Village proved to be the best place for it. It was big enough that they could really get things going and provide an actual tavern atmosphere to the place. Now they were getting things set up there. A stockroom starting to be filled with the supplies Bull had already gotten, the kitchen filled with their equipment and one of the rooms commandeered for a fermenting room., keeping the temperature in there a little warmer than the rest of the place.
[For Des]
After they had gotten the stuff up there and squered away Bull stands in the middle of the kitchen and looks around. "Not a bad choice at all. I think we can make this into a really good place, a proper tavern. We just need to get brewing on a big scale for that." He grins at Des "You're down for helping me grow hops and barley in the summer? I don't want to rely on the gifts"
[For Thor (or Loki if he wants to be the one answering the door)]
After Bull's gotten settled and seen how the whole place functions he figures it might not be a bad idea to consolidate the brewing that is going on in the village. So he heads to Thor's house, knocking on the door. "You in there, Thor?"
[Patrols, OTA]
Not even a brand new brewery is going to stop Bull from preforming his duty as one of the guys leading patrol, so he shows up every day, bright and early. He even puts a note up in the South inn that people who want to join can meet up and get paired with someone else who does the patrol as well. There are a few routes he likes to take. Around each of the villages, checking on the fountain and the road between, and then also making sure they have plans for defense of the villages. You can pretty much always approach him with that.
[Inn, Lunchtime. Off Color, Feb 21-22 ]
When Bull wakes up the morning of the 21st he feels good, though slightly different. And like he is in the mood for something different. Maybe he should experiment some with the beer today. They had recently gotten new supplies. What if he changed up some of the ratios.
It wasn't until around lunch time, after the beer had been started that he realizes what has caused it. His band had changed color to violet. Damn. Once he sits down at the lunch table at the inn he looks around, trying to spot people with the same band color, once he spots them, he shows them his. "Got a surprise this morning."
Patrols of Course - 18th
Someone.
Someone who is signed up for this morning with an open slot with them and really, what's the point in avoiding them? Should he keep doing it because he doesn't know how to deal with some of what he learned the last time they spoke? Probably not, but he's so good at avoiding things. Still... Grumbling to himself Nida jots his name down in chalk next to Bull's and heads out, twirling one of his newly finished tanbo between his fingers, the other tucked into his belt in such a way that it didn't knock against the bo staff at his back.
Find Bull, do patrol, pretend that his brain isn't nagging him about the idea that there was more going on there than he'd ever realized. Fuck, maybe he should just go use his new intangibility to break into Malik and Altair's place again and poke around to see if Malik really is sharing a bed with Altair.
But look, he does show up, see? There he is, approaching Bull, his free hand raised in a brief greeting even though he doesn't look completely up to meet the big guy's eyes.
Re: Patrols of Course - 18th
"Been busy training people?"
Re: Patrols of Course - 18th
"There's a lot more to getting a place like that managed than I realized," he says as he starts walking the line of the patrol. He's used to doing so with Bull, he knows the favored route. "I've got some help on a slightly administrative level. I've gotten in touch with the two people who had also agreed with Danny to help with various sorts of training specializations. Been working on my wood-working to make practice weapons out of wood, but you know how effective that is when there isn't really proper weight behind them. It's all... It's time consuming."
And there's nothing to say that the time he's been taking out to talk to Billy more, including just sending him warm and affectionate messages throughout the day
barely together, like, three days and he's already mastered the art of cute texts for your SO to make them feel special, well, he's been busy.Re: Patrols of Course - 18th

patrol; sometime after bull meets billy?
No, Tommy’s just out for a run this morning. Maybe he can’t go as fast as he could back home, but that’s no excuse to not stay in shape. His run today happens to cross paths with Bull, and he waves, grinning, as he meets Bull’s eye.
“Hey, dude! Nice horns!”
Bull may notice something familiar about Tommy - except for the hair color, white-blond instead of dark, his appearance is identical to that of one Billy Kaplan. Which makes sense, since they’re twins.
Re: patrol; sometime after bull meets billy?
Then he sees someone running past him. Someone who looks an awful lot like "Billy?" He frowns and turns, the hair is wrong but still. He looks the other over. "Hey, hold up a second."

"Nah, dude, I'm Tommy - Billy's better-looking twin," he says, with a sharp grin. "What, he never mentioned me?"

Inn - Lunch Time
However... Well, from across the room he punches a message in to his wristband, just for the Bull.
So, what does violet make you? Please say amorous.
Re: Inn - Lunch Time
Bull looks up and over Reeve with a smile.

Figuring out new stuff in regards to what? I'm known to be something of a thinker. Perhaps I could provide some degree of assistance.]

North Village
Wash observes for a while, not really trying to hide, but not making himself obvious either. Eventually though he gets a little closer, going to lean against the wall of a nearby building so that he can watch them lug things through the doorway. He doesn't know what it is, but it's sure a lot of equipment. His first thought if this was home, would be weapon making. It doesn't seem like that though.
Re: North Village
He left his axe in the inn on purpose and instead brought a bottle of beer with him. Doesn't hurt to make nice with the neighbours after all. That is what he assumes this guy is, he hasn't seen him much down in the south village so it would make sense.
"Hey."
Re: North Village
He eyes the man warily, and yeah, this guy could probably give Maine a challenge if they went up against each other. "Hey."
Re: North Village
"I am the Iron Bull." He offers a hand.

Patrols
When curiosity gets the better of her, and she sees the note left by Bull, she's practically foaming at the mouth at the prospect of doing something remotely like what she's used to. It's more of a beat cop routine, patrolling, but it's better than what she's doing otherwise: a whole lot of fucking nothing.
She happens to catch sight of him on her way back to her cabin in the North Village from the Southern Inn. She breaks into a light jog to catch up with him, then slows as she nears.
"Hey," she offers, lightly tapping him with her elbow. A sign of Diaz affection. "Saw your sign in the Inn." She jabs a thumb over her shoulder back in its direction. "I'm down for patrols."
Re: Patrols
He hopes she is, that way he can drop his stuff off at the inn and then take her on one of the rounds.

She glances up at him and then pats her pocket.
"Got a pocket knife a villager gave me." Not a sentence she ever thought she'd say. "But yeah, I'm good with either. I prefer blades of — pretty much any variety, if there are any of those. Also, I'm an archer, so whatever's more useful for you."

Thor/Loki
So while Thor worries about his brother's whereabouts, he knows not to pry or prod. He lets him leave in silence, lets him think that he's skulked away without being seen in the middle of the night while Thor lays awake in bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to shake the residual memories they'd been shown.
He's sitting in the living room, contemplating nothing of particular importance but feeling rather sad, when he hears a knock at the door. A quiet sigh escaping him, he gets up and answers it, half-expecting to see Jane or Banner or Tony, come to ask Thor to wrangle up his troublesome brother. At the sight of Bull, however, he blinks, surprised.
"Bull!" he exclaims with a faint smile. It's not as boisterous as it normally is, but Thor is happy to see his friend. "I didn't expect you! Please, come in." He moves to the side to allow Bull entry to the cabin, gesturing for him to do so with his hand.
Re: Thor/Loki
"I have a suggestion for you. I heard you were making mead."

"And it is good to see you, too!" Thor notices Bull's scanning of the space and lets out a sigh, shaking his head. "My brother is not here. He's — he's not been .. home .. much. As of late." He looks crestfallen as he's reminded of his brother's notable absence, letting that feeling linger a moment or two before he blinks the darker thoughts away. Talk of mead helps to refocus him to something happier. "Yes! I am! Well, I've got it all mixed up in these large barrels I made, but it won't be ready for some time. What is your suggestion?"

I AM ALIVE AGAIN
"Yeah, of course, man. We're brewing partners now." He offers his first toward Bull for a fist bump, and then realizes it might not be a universal gesture. "If you put your fist against mine, it's like a hell yeah gesture."
