Is Here, There, and Everywhere [OTA, Forest Near South Village]
True to his word from the network post, Nida's waiting at the eastern edge of the woods on Saturday. He's actually there a bit early, with a nice pair of packs (one his waterproof one, the other one of the medical kits from storage at the inn), a bundle of wrapped up blankets, and box loaded with other materials. For all that the lesson was a spur of the moment thing he had proposed, it was still something he took seriously. Impulse may have driven this lesson in the wilderness, but that didn't mean he was anything but prepared. He shows up an hour early for his appointed time, waits until fifteen minutes after the scheduled time, and then leads whoever shows up into the woods. It's not too far from the village that he sets up, but as he guides them he explains simple tricks for staying aware of directions in the forest. And once he gets to the site he'd picked out for their task he stops people and goes right into instructor mode. Sure, there are irrelevant asides and anecdotes, but he's still doing the best he can.
While spending their saturday evening setting up he sets the people on various tasks. First he starts with how to find water in the wild, because it's the core of survival in the long term. Then it's on to starting your own fire out of various materials, right down to the not as effective but definitely important friction methods. And then, of course, the all important building a shelter lesson. Nor is he just standing back and letting people fail. As they work he hovers, happily providing tips, tricks, and even showing them specific knots or techniques to make everything more effective.
Because people aren't going to die from exposure out in the woods if he can help it.
Doesn't Understand Personal Space [OTA, Around the Southern Village]
Listen, when life gives you intangibility on top of experience as an infiltration operative, you damn well make lemonade. Or, well, anything else. There are places he hasn't been, things he hasn't seen, and right now, Nida intended to do that. Which meant the next several days
It's easy to run into him at these times, because he's so focused on his mischief that he doesn't necessarily notice if someone is around, much less walking in on him doing his silly little fun. And there's always the chance that you can run into him, walking through a wall to leave a building or house. Because really, he's having too much fun to be careful.
Apparently, age will tell. Once, you know, the straight-laced, far too rigid nature of a SeeD is overridden by an impulsive nature.
Is In Your Bed, Grinning Wildly [Closed to Billy]
Was it weird that this was, maybe, the first thing he'd thought up once he'd realized he had the power to walk through walls? This, of course, was Nida stretched out on Billy's bed, smiling to himself as he drew small pictures of Billy in his travel notebook. The current one was absolutely a speculation of what Billy would look like shirtless, panting and leaning on a bo. Clearly it's supposed to be after a training session, but damn if it isn't a lovely little fantasy he's scratched out for himself on paper.
Getting in had been easy. Granted it would be easy even without this new power. Windows in this village were horribly insecure, especially in the crawl-spaces some of the houses had. But it's all so much easier when walls and barriers actually mean nothing. So, after he got talking on the network some, and put some things together, he'd finally gone after his impulse. Which was amazing, that he'd managed to resist this long.
Unfortunately, he's also been here for a whole five minutes with no sign of Billy. Come on, he put together this perfectly awesome way to surprise his friend and show Billy that he's doing better, but and Billy wasn't even around? This was the worst, waiting. He didn't really have the patience. Which, on some level, he knew was wrong. But he didn't care. What he cared about was how he was getting bored. Maybe he should go show Stark that he could follow through with that threat instead. No, he wouldn't be in his room either.
Ugh, this was getting boring.
[OOC: If you want a specific starter for Nida making a fool of himself in your house, just let me know. You're absolutely welcome to inflict some damage on him, provided it will be non-fatal. Guy deserves it atm.]

Billy's Bedroom, What Even
"Let me guess. Tommy wasn't home, either, so you decided to let yourself in and make yourself comfortable?"
He sounds more confident, too, almost teasing as he takes his coat off, tossing it over his chair before he braces his hands on the foot of the bed and leans in towards Nida, smile still on his face. It's great to see Nida, it always is, but today just feels...different.
Re: Billy's Bedroom, What Even
"I mean, depends on what you mean by 'let myself in'," he says, holding up a wrist. Orange, see? You're not the only different one here. "Walls hold no meaning to my power."
Damn he looks good, leaning in like that. If he wasn't sort of focusing on his drawing, a quick erasing to fix the line of Billy's hair in the picture, he might lean up to kiss him.
"Your bed is insanely comfortable."
no subject
Leaning in just that little bit closer, Billy tries to get a look at what Nida's doing. It's a little tricky, trying to see around his hand and where his head's bent over the book, but it looks like he's drawing. "I know my bed's comfortable," he answers a little absently as he leans over another inch or so, tilting his head to try and see more clearly. "It's why I sleep there and not on the couch. What are you drawing?" It looks like a person. Is that...?
no subject
Don't stop him, Billy, don't you dare stop him. And now he's grinning, because this question is one he's happy to field. He tucks the pencil behind his ear and offers the notebook over, once he's got the particular swooshiness of Billy's hair properly down.
"The most beautiful guy in town," he explains. "Turns out I'm good for more than drawing things as they are for reports. Who knew?"
no subject
If he weren't coasting on this addictive feeling of confidence, he'd be turning as red as the band on his wrist. As it stands, though, he just looks at the art, then looks back up at Nida, smiling as he lifts his eyebrows. "Most beautiful guy in town, huh? You're setting a pretty high bar for me, you know," he says, flipping his hair out of his face, tone unmistakably flirtatious. "Guess I'll have to keep working out, live up to what you've drawn here. You're a great artist, but you're definitely way too generous with my abs." Although that also begs the question: what Nida's doing drawing him half-naked like that? He's half-tempted to ask.
no subject
"If that's a high bar, you're the most talented high jumper I've ever seen, because you clear it so easily," he offers right back. "And if you need a personal trainer to make sure you get there, I'm happy to give you my hands and eyes to shape your body to where it is clearly meant to be."
Good thing his hand is occupied taking the notebook back. Otherwise he might touch said abs. It's a very narrow margin of choosing one over the other.
"I'm bored. Whatever else 'orange' is, it's definitely not great for my sense of patience. Entertain me."
no subject
A Billy who casually stands just out of easy reach after handing over that book and pulls his hoodie over his head, leaving him in one of those clingy black henleys he'd liberated from the storeroom for the winter, and if there's a brief glimpse of abs in the motion, it at least passes for unintentional, even if it wasn't. "Generous offer to make. Obviously I'm gonna take you up on it, you clearly know how to shape a body," he says, draping the hoodie over the desk chair along with his coat. "At least I know I'll be in good hands."
Moving back over to the side of the bed, Billy sits on the edge closest to Nida, not quite touching. He does still remember everything they've talked about, or not talked about, it just...seems silly to not be close, if that's what he wants to be. And he does. "You're demandy today. Entertain, you, huh? How am I supposed to do that?" He's not grinning quite as widely, but there's clearly still a smile lingering on his lips and in his eyes as he looks down at Nida.
no subject
"Well, you could just be in my very, very good hands," he teases.
And he sets the notebook aside, takes the pencil from behind his ear and tosses it aside as well, because reaching out. Reaches out to rest a hand on Billy's hip. Goes and maybe massages a very light circle against it.
"You could tell me stories. I keep hearing Tommy talk about these Young Avengers but you barely tell me anything. Do you were costumes? What do you look like in your costume?"
no subject
"Really? Yeah, I guess you're right. I haven't talked much about them, have I? I mean, some, but not a lot. Is that what you want to hear about? My team, our costumes?"
no subject
But he does sit up, taking his hand from Billy’s hip to smile up at him.
“Why wouldn’t I want to know more about you, Billy? To hear how you save people. You’re a hero, right? Own it. Because it makes you even sexier than you already are.”
no subject
The grin softens just a little, and he reaches up to push his hair out of his face. The words remind him of Teddy, just a little; I fell in love with a superhero, Billy, he'd said, and maybe another time those words would hurt. Another time, he'd think that Teddy had only ever been with him because he was Wiccan, and not because he was Billy Kaplan; another time, he'd start to second-guess this all over again. But he doesn't. Teddy left him, and Nida is here, wanting to know more, wanting to be with him even though he doesn't have his magic, even though he's basically a novice at everything that just comes naturally to him. There's no reason to second-guess anything. Because he's right. Billy is a hero, and it's part of him, and Nida...Nida wants to know all of him.
"Which part, the being a hero, or owning it? Because I mean, I guess I can manage the second part. It helps that I have a gorgeous guy sitting here in my bed telling me I'm sexy."
no subject
"Owning it. Being confident with who you are. Wanting to be better at what you already do. All of that is far sexier. I mean, if heroism alone was a mark of who was attractive, I'd have to look at Rinoa differently, and I'm not into women," Nida laughs. "Only you."
Too forward? Perhaps. And perhaps he doesn't care. Definitely doesn't care because he's shifting closer to Billy. Not quite close enough for their legs to touch, but definitely close enough that they could if they wanted to. Which he does. So you know what? Fuck it. He closes that last inch so that his knee rests right against Billy's leg.
"Or maybe you can just tell me how nice it is to have a 'gorgeous' guy in your bed, telling you things you already know."
no subject
"Only me, huh? I'm glad," he says, and despite the teasing tone he means it. "I mean, Rinoa would be some pretty tough competition. So would a lot of the guys here. But you know, I think I do feel pretty confident in my chances. After all, you're here, right?" Nida's knee rests against Billy's leg, and he presses back subtly, enjoying the pressure. It's just a perfectly natural next step for Billy to shift his arm, bracing it on the other side of Nida's knees, keeping him where he is.
"Maybe I will tell you that. You know, you're really cute when you blush. I don't think I've ever seen you do that before." The words are bold, but he refuses to feel bad about them, and he's definitely not going to be embarrassed.
no subject
Was that forward? Does he care? Yes and no respectively. Especially with how Billy is looking at him. Guy doesn't even know how amazingly intense his own gaze is, and right now it feels more that than it has before. Add in those words and how they make him blush just a bit harder...
Well, Nida doesn't know what's gotten into him and he doesn't really care because this is good. Why was he being so stupid earlier. They could do this, right? They could mix this easy affection and fondness with their friendship. It wouldn't be hard. In fat, he could definitely just lean in and kiss Billy, right now. He could.
He does. Leans in, a hand going first to curl around the line of Billy's jaw to turn him into position for Nida to press their lips together. It's a bit firmer than the first time, but it's still short. Frightfully so. But he doesn't pull back as much when it's done. No, he presses their foreheads together and smiles.
"I shouldn't have done that, right?" he chuckles, but the color is still high in his cheeks, his heart is still racing, and he'd probably do it again with little encouragement.
Being here was a bad idea, and it seemed he definitely made it worse. Oh well. Got to own the good and the bad, right?
no subject
His heartbeat picks up speed as Nida shifts and leans in, and Billy's happy to follow the lead of that hand on his jaw, leaning in to meet Nida halfway. That was the point of all of this waiting, wasn't it? To be sure, to know he could meet him halfway? He feels sure of that now, and equally sure that this is what he wants, and just as sure that that kiss is far too short, even as he rests his head against Nida's, smiling. Billy lifts a hand, finally brushing soft fingers over Nida's cheek, tracing the line of his jaw. Maybe he should agree. Is a month really enough time to figure that sort of thing out? But it hasn't just been a month, has it? It's been four, and he knows what he wants.
He should say no. But why should he? "I think you should do it again," he finds himself saying instead, voice quiet but very, very definitely sure.
no subject
You know what, he didn't care to argue. So he leans in again, his hand sliding back into Billy's hair as he leans in to kiss him again. Just as firm, but a bit longer. Be proud of him, he isn't just about crawling into Billy's lap at this point. It's close.
"Yeah," he says when he breaks the next kiss. "I could do that. I could really do that."
no subject
It's a longer kiss, but still too short, he thinks, but breathing is important, and they shouldn't rush just because he's been thinking about this for months. So he takes a moment during that break to just breathe Nida in, eyes half-closed, pulling back just enough to get a good look at Nida's face. "Me too," he murmurs finally, and this time it's Billy's turn to lean in and initiate a third kiss, confidence spurring him onward. They can do this. Just...this. He doesn't want to stop now, and he hopes Nida doesn't, either.
no subject
Just come closer, Billy, he would promise it would be okay. After all, hadn't he suggested having his hands all over the younger man?
no subject
The kiss finally breaks when the need to breathe overrides the rest, and he's faintly flushed and quietly laughing with exhilaration when they finally part. "Wow. We should definitely do this more," he says, still breathless, still unashamed. But just because he's not ashamed doesn't mean he's not still worried about Nida's comfort, and one fingertip traces Nida's lower lip as he looks at the other man. "Is this okay? Me being here like this?"
no subject
"I feel like my heart's going to explode from having you so close," he answers, because really, what else would he say? This is... everything he wants. It's better than he ever thought was possible. "Hyne, you have no idea how happy I am right now, Billy. Does this mean...?"
no subject
"I mean, I might have some idea," he says, a slow, warm smile spreading across his face as he looks at Nida. One hand shifts to brush fingers over his temple through his hair before settling again, and he thinks carefully about his answer before giving it. "It means I'm not afraid anymore," he finally answers, expression a little thoughtful. "I mean--that's not totally true, but it's like...the normal kinds of afraid, you know? Afraid I'll mess up and hurt you, afraid I'll be dumb and selfish again. But those aren't reasons to not do this. It's just reasons to do better. And..." Billy pauses for a moment, just looking.
"I want to be with you. To try this. You make me really happy, and I think it's even dumber to not try just because I'm afraid of messing up again."
no subject
For Billy he'd do his best.
He manages to keep from moving his head to bury his face into Billy's beck. No, he stays mostly still because he's leaning into the gentle touch across his face, through his hair. It's wonderful and he already misses the tenderness of the touch.
"Then I'll be afraid for the both of us," Nida offers softly. "Because I really want this. No one has made me want this quite like you. But I'm going to be a horrible boyfriend at times because I won't know what's important. I've never done this. So in this, Billy, will you be my teacher?"
It's only fair, to share lessons.
"Billy Kaplan, will you be my boyfriend?"
no subject
"I've only done this once before, so I'm not sure how good a teacher I'll be. I'm probably going to mess up, too. But we can learn together. I'll tell you what I've figured out, at least: talking and listening to each other are the most important parts. If you aren't happy, tell me, so we can try and fix it. And I promise I'll do the same. Everything else is just...just us figuring out the steps. You know?"
Billy pauses for a moment, hands shifting, fingers laced around the nape of Nida's neck, absently toying with his hair. Instead of answering the question right away, he leans in, places a soft, chaste kiss on Nida's mouth. "...Say that again?" A tiny bit selfish, maybe, but he wants to hear the words, just one more time.
no subject
"Second rule," Nida says when he reaches up just around Billy's jaw line, "you learn to fight. You're not getting out of lessons just because your boyfriend is the instructor. You're going to learn how to protect yourself here, because I can't accept anything short of that. I can't be everywhere, and if you get taken from me, I want to know you'll be okay until I make it to your side. Hell, even beyond that."
Finally his lips make it just up to Billy's ear, pulling back to whisper but not touch. Well, not touch the ear. His hands are still gripping Billy's hips firmly.
"Be mine, Billy. My boyfriend. I know I'm a day late for Valentine's, but let's have that in there too."
no subject
"Deal. I meant it when I said I didn't want to be helpless. I want to be able to take care of myself," he manages, though his voice is breathy and distracted, and he slides one hand deeper into Nida's hair, fingers combing through the short strands. "I want to be able to fight. And you definitely better not go easy on me just because of this."
There's no way Nida can miss the shiver that runs down his spine at the words whispered in his ear, echoing the reaction he'd had that day in the schoolhouse. Although it's definitely better, this time, isn't it? "I'm already yours," he answers, turning his head towards Nida, lips brushing his jaw.
no subject
Knowing there's a chance he could get his boyfriend to that point is definitely it's own special sort of challenge that he's happily signing up for.
This, though, is definitely better than the school house. Better than clumsy confessions of affection that were trying to hide behind plausible deniability. Better than that brief moment of a kiss that could only barely be called as much. Better than even the situation he just came out of, because those fingers in his hair, those lips against his jaw drawing an actual groan from him, that's all Billy.
"Good," he sighs, because who could ask for anything more than that? "Very good. Last thing?"
And this is the one that kills him to have to do. Because where they are at this moment, how it felt to have Billy so shameless before him, to have him encouraging like this? It's also not what he came here for. Granted he didn't come here to ask Billy out, but that was a lovely side effect.
His hands shift from Billy's hips to wrap low and securely over Billy's waist and he moves them, an easy roll that ends with Billy pinned to the bed under him, and Nida smiling down at Billy, hands braced on either side of his head and Nida's lips definitely hovering out of reach.
"Making out needs to stop for the moment. Because this," the fingers of one hand reach out to tap the red of Billy's wrist band, and his head jerked toward his own orange one as if to indicate that as well, "this isn't fully us acting I think. Because I know I want to take it slower with you, I want to have this all mean something. Like I said, I want treat you like more than the guys I've had in my bed. Because you mean more. Not saying make outs are off the table, but I think not doing so when we're riding high on emotions of this choice we can revisit just how badly I want to leave marks on your neck and hear you gasping my name."
no subject
So he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, trying to not think about Nida on top of him, instead sifting through his own feelings. When he opens his eyes again, they're a little less glazed, though still very much full of want. "I know," he says quietly. "I don't want to rush, either. You're worth taking it slow. But I mean--the band doesn't change how I feel. I think it's just--I'm less afraid to say it. Less embarrassed. I feel like I can do this." He pauses for a moment, head tilted slightly as he considers Nida.
"Do you want to take it back? Wait until whatever this is is over? Because I'd get it. I don't want to, but I'd understand. I just want you to know all of this isn't a wristband. It's just me."
no subject
"This isn't just the wristband either. This is me. But I know that I sort of want to break into Stark's house and move all of his stuff to mess with him, so clearly I'm not fully my usual self with how badly I want that."
Yes, he's going to do it sooner or later, no matter what anyone may say to him. It's an overwhelming urge and he will bow to it. Just like right now he's leaning in to kiss billy again. Whoops. Restraint is something he's clearly bad at right now.
no subject
"I get it. It's okay. I'm okay taking things slow. I mean--you're definitely worth the wait," he says, although as Nida leans down to kiss him again, he definitely isn't doing anything to stop it. He is, however, aware that right now, he's probably the one of them with more self-control, which means that he keeps that kiss slow and soft, hand light against Nida's face.
When the kiss ends, Billy's faintly flushed, but smiling up at Nida again. "So, no making out, maybe, but can kissing still be on the table? Because I really, really like kissing you." They can find a middle ground here, right? He hopes, anyway.
no subject
"No making out for the next few hours or something," Nida corrects. Okay, probably longer than that. But kissing? He smiles. Yeah, that he's good with. He nods and then moves, rolling himself so he's now lying next to Billy, instead of hovering over him. "I'd be happy to kiss you now."
no subject
He can't deny he's a little disappointed when Nida rolls off of him, but at least he's not going far, and Billy rolls over onto his side to face Nida, head pillowed on one elbow and sliding a hand over Nida's waist, smiling affectionately at him. "Good," he says, and there's no mistaking the satisfaction in his voice as he closes the short distance between them. Nida might not be used to slow, easy kisses like this, but personally, Billy enjoys this just as much as the more urgent kind. It doesn't have to be fast and hard to be intense, after all.
no subject
Kissing Billy? Better than all the gil in the world. There's something awesome about his fingers tangling into Billy's hair
it's too cute when it's mussed up. An absolute world of amazing to have those lips against his own, slow and sweet and just fitting together in the right ways. Oh, and that pleased hum coming from Nida? Totally not imagined, because if he could he'd about be purring right now.Slow sweet kisses. Could his life just boil down to this? Unfortunately he can't just melt into Billy, so after a handful more kisses he pulls back
and opens his eyes because damn he can't keep them open when they're kissing like that, and he just smiles as he admires Billy's face."Hyne, you're just about the best thing. Did you know that?" he asks, carding his fingers through Billy's hair. "Everything about this place that is good? It's nothing when I compare it to you, Billy Kaplan."
Forgive him for using the full name, but it just feels so good on his lips.
"I feel like I could stay here, right in this spot, forever. If I was given the chance to look into your eyes like this. They're like... Like rich fall honey. Not that spring stuff, it's too much yellow or orange. But fall honey, a golden brown, the sort that's thick with promise, and spicy-sweet on your tongue."
no subject
"Love the way that feels," he says about Nida's hand in his hair, tilting his head just slightly to press a brief kiss to the pulse point of his inner wrist. And all the rest...god, it's almost too much, isn't it? His heart is going to burst through his chest, he thinks, and he lifts a hand to cover Nida's, lacing their fingers together and pulling that hand down to press it to his chest, fingers flat over his heart as he looks at his boyfriend. And that's another word, isn't it? He's not over it, isn't going to be over it. Not for a while.
"Feel what you do to me?" he asks softly, voice a low murmur. "That's all for you. Every time I look at you, every time you look at me like that. Just you, Nida Nomura." His lips curl a little more as he leans in, smile becoming a sly grin. "So, do I taste like honey, too...?"
no subject
"Are you saying I make your heart race?" Nida asks with a soft smile. Because he doubts Billy's saying that his heart beats for Nida. Which would be charming too.
"I don't know," Nida hums lightly, leaning in. "Maybe I should get a taste."
no subject
"Yeah," he answers, and there's nothing at all self-conscious about the words, or the affectionate look on his face. "You do. Every time you're around, it feels like it's gonna leap out of my chest. Especially when you talk about me like that." Like he's something special, something to be treasured.
Billy's happy to let that kiss happen, too, to kiss Nida back, and he shifts his legs slightly, hooking one sock-clad foot around Nida's. Long moments later, when the kiss finally ends again, he doesn't pull back; just sighs, smiling, brushing the tip of Nida's nose with his own. "This is really nice, you know? You're warm. Perfect size to cuddle with, too."
no subject
The kiss is great, his fingers curl around the back of the man's head, kissing him as sweetly as he can, and applaud him for not even reacting too much to the tangling of their legs. It's only right they are like this.
"I wanted to do this, the night I stayed over. To just stay in your bed and hold you. But I realized I had feelings that night, so I couldn't ask. Maybe... maybe tonight I can stay here with you? Just hold you? Maybe it will help me sleep."
no subject
"I'd like that a lot," he says softly, fingers brushing over Nida's lower back. "You staying here with me. Falling asleep together. Just like this." Maybe then the nightmares won't be so bad. And if they do wake him up--either one of them--the other will be there. He won't be waking up alone to an empty room. The thought is incredibly comforting.
no subject
"The good news is that when I fall asleep with a man in my arms, I don't freak out if I get touched to wake me up. Some sort of training thing I expect, trusting a partner to take care of me. Makes me feel safe. And I feel safe with you."
no subject
"You are safe with me." The words are murmured, Billy's fingers gently combing through Nida's hair as he watches him. "This is a safe place. Here, just the two of us." Is he ever going to get tired of those words, saying them or hearing them? Signs point to no. "And you can come sleep with me any time you want. I like having you here, in my arms."
no subject
"Would you be... upset if I just... just fell asleep right now?"
no subject
"Sleep. I'll be here when you wake up." Maybe he'll sleep, too. Maybe he'll just lay here, watching Nida, thinking about how ridiculously lucky he is. It's anyone's guess, honestly.
