"Yes, I did," Nida answered, his voice hard. "I told you, brothers. And like I said, he likes you. Pretty much I've completely blown my chance at a boar spear for hunting, but whatever."

Seifer is more important. Protect his family, and he's going to manage this. But at least he isn't getting attacked. So he enjoys another fry as he thinks.

"Do you like this metal working thing?"

Mostly he wants to be sure Seifer isn't just doing it because it's something to do. If that's the case, Nida will help him figure out something else.
