Hey people, Foggy here. I got a couple of those boxes that seem to happen to people and while it's addressed to me, I get the feeling that it's meant for the collective. I've got a bunch of woodworking tools here, including chisels, files, a saw and a hand drill with drill bits.
I'm taking this a hint that they approved of my amateur forays into carpentry and want that to continue, but I want to make sure everyone knows they're welcome to use them. For now, I'm keeping everything at the South Inn, but maybe we can set up one of the houses, or the mill as a workshop at some point.
Even had an idea for making paper from the sawdust and shavings. That's probably going to need experimentation though.

True to his word, Foggy has set up in the large front room. He's moved a table to a far corner and he's set out the tools, checking them over to see if they're all fine. He does know all these tools, he did high school wood working, but it's been a while.
A long while.
But the main reason for sitting here is so that it's apparent he is here, and the tools are here, and they can work something out for making useful things and teaching people to make useful things.

"Someone suggested to me that we're clones. Which... is a concept you wouldn't know. Um, okay. That we're dopple gangers. Changelings. That we are, for example, Foggy Nelson, but there is a Foggy Nelson, back home, living his life, unaware of me or this place. That I could be a copy of that guy. Personally, I don't think it's super likely, because of the healed injuries on some people. Like, Frank's nose has been broken a lot. A lot. Duplicating that would be difficult."
He had to put it out there. "I'm sorry. I mean, in my time, you'd be long gone anyway, but I'm still sorry. That's rough."

"Okay, you lost me now, Foggy." Sitting back, almost distancing himself from the idea, if only because none of that makes sense in an entirely new way.
"How do they even make copies of a person? Wouldn't they need the person to do it?"
Not even knowing that if he knew how he died it would be worse. How did you copy a person in a million pieces, after all?

Foggy doesn't really understand how it works. "In my world, it's theoretically possible, but I'd have to give you a full background in biology and genetics to explain it. So... just accept that it is actually a viable theory and if you want to know more, I would suggest you hunt down Doctor Banner and ask him about it, because he's actually a scientist."

"Yeah, I think I'm good not having a clue," he admits, sounding confused and really uncertain. "I'll just be happy with being alive," he adds. Which he is. Even if it's creepy every time he thinks about it.
