It's like being sick again.
Except this time 7 doesn't have the added hallucinations or general foggy head to obscure any of the other ailments. Her stomach is both nauseous and pained, her head is harboring a splitting headache, and at times the room seems to actually spin.
She had attempted to get up and take a bath at once point and made it to her door before giving up; taking a quick nap on the blessedly cool hardwood floors and then gradually pulling herself back into bed.
Time passed without her knowledge, just that the sun came in too bright and stabbed her eyes and the daytime birdsong came in and stabbed her eardrums and by the time night has rolled around she's curled up in a tight fetal position under the covers.
She worries that she's come down with the same illness again, oh please just let this pass.

So he pads back, ignoring looks from others before returning to their home.
7? Are you here? He might be a bit too loud.
no subject
"NOT. SO. LOUUD."
Oh, that hurts. It all hurts
no subject
Venom runs. The sound makes him concerned and so there is tromping - one, two, three, four before freezing at her door and raising a giant hand to knock.
Not so loud?
7? It's Venom. Please respond if you are hurt or I will break the door down.

A moment to breathe, "It's unlocked." She rather just wanted to suffer and die in silence, but she figured Venom probably wouldn't be convinced until he'd seen she was still alive.
no subject
Are you sick? You don't seem sick. There's no smell of anything dead or dying, no sense of weakness. Venom sniffs her again before ambling over to the side of her bed, Are you okay?
no subject
"No ... not sure what's going on ... why are humans like this ..." She retreats into her blanket nest. Muffled, "I hate being human."
no subject
this is...
One big clawed hand touches her shoulder gently.
Describe it to us
Eddie's brain is at the ready. He'll know what it means to be human. He's been one for awhile now.
We will fix it.

"I feel ... gross. My stomach hurts, my head hurts, everything is too loud." At least now night has fallen and it's not quite so bright outside. She reaches up to rest a hand on his, then pulls it down and curls around it because misery loves company.
no subject
He settles in beside her and sniffs at her before stroking her head and saying -
In his normal voice -
Does sound hurt?
no subject
"If it's too loud, or too sharp. It was too bright earlier." She looks up at him with an expression a fair mix of shame and horror, "I threw up earlier."
It had been terrifying.
"But, I don't feel quite so ... faraway? As I did when I was sick before."
no subject
Certain kinds of noises. Holding her shoulder Venom tilts his head and his tongue lolls out. The tongue, absentmindedly, begins cleaning his eyes with a mlem sound.
Did you eat anything? Drink anything?
no subject
But right now all she's trying to hunt is how to not feel miserable. She groans slightly at his question and looks up at him. "No, I haven't. I don't know if I can.
Why are you licking your eyes?"
no subject
I don't have eyelids. Or eye-lashes. I have to clean my eyes like this.
He considers this, ...Did you drink anything strange?
no subject
She thinks about that for a moment, "I mean, I had a lot to drink last night, and it was all kind of ... strange. Some of it had bubbles, some of it burned, I had a bunch of little tiny glasses with Cougar. Tekla? I can't remember, last night is kind of fuzzy."
no subject
There are images of Eddie. Slowly swirling back and forth out of himself. Of beer bongs (something where you swallow beer? While upside down?). Hard liquor, and what he did before. What he did before Venom, drinking, applying for jobs, crawling down to the bowels of the city.
And Drinking.
His tongue lolls out. That's what you did. Drinking. You are hung over.
no subject
She looks up at him, imploring and miserable. Whatever it was, she just wanted it to stop.
no subject
Venom tilts his head and listens - peering through Eddie's eyes at his history. At the times he's been hung over.
You had alcohol.
no subject
"How do I feet it to stop? How did I feel better?"
no subject
That's what Eddie would do. That's how he takes care of people. So this works right?
Bananas. But there are no Bananas. What's a banana?
no subject
"Banana? I have no idea ... that's a weird word."
no subject
strange feelings stir in Venom and he has to wonder how much is him and how much is Eddie. Host bleed happens, but these emotions...he has never had these emotions before.
You must drink water if you haven't. Venom frowns, If this does not work I will go and find one of the doctors and drag them here.
Physically if need be.
no subject
And that is not an experience she is eager to revisit.
"Can't I just sleep? Let it go away on its own?" She curls back, slightly onto his thigh to look back up at him. "I'm already feeling better."
Now that he's here. It's a new feeling, the idea that she was so fiercely independent and yet somehow she finds herself drawn to this behemoth.
no subject
Venom didn't realize he was keeping his voice down until he sat, and shifted himself, liquid warmth doing it's best to heat up behind her.
But if that is what you want. I am...sorry your head hurt.
His hand rests on her head, does that feel good?
no subject
She hadn't realized how isolated she'd been feeling until she'd started making friends.
And then Venom had come along and ... it was different. It was good, but it was different, and while she didn't have a word for whatever it was that was going on, she'd take it. Her lips curl into a smile, and as much as she wishes they were out hunting instead of curled up on a bed like this, she'd take it.
"It does, thank you."
no subject
You will recover from this and we will hunt again. Venom smiles, tongue lolling out. A few drips of saliva drip down from it's mouth and he's purring.
Are you happy? Other then that?
no subject
She reaches up to catch his large hand and pull it down to hold onto, tracing a finger over one of his claws. "Yeah, I am."
She wouldn't have guessed it, when she arrived here; wary and doubting everything.
