[Closed] Patrol With The Bull

Until now Nida had mostly been doing his rounds of the village on 'patrol' solo. There just hadn't been enough sign-ups before this, and with the hours he did his walks there didn't seem to be as much overlap. Part of that was because Nida wasn't the best at handling the cold. Even now, being out at night was a bit much for him, and he'd bundled himself up in just about everything he had at hand for warmth, taken one of the practice bōs he'd made for himself---not that he'd want to use it because of how flimsy the soft wood he'd managed---so he'd be armed. Once that was done he'd shouted out to the house where he was going and with who, just in case Rinoa or Seifer had slipped in and would care, before heading out to walk toward the fountain.

Time to meet the 'boss'.

"Yeah. So qunari has this war paint we use that reacts with our skin and turns it hard like armour, it is toxic to humans and elves though. And it felt like that. But I wasn't wearing any."

Paint that reacts with their skin to make it tougher. Nida would have called that odd except he knew it wasn’t necessarily any odder than ‘magical spirits that eat memories who use other magic to make your skin harder’. To the point where most SeeDs chose to forego armor.

“And it just... happened? In danger and poof skin like steel or something? Sounds useful. So does taking down a boar. Thing I miss most about home is hunting down large ‘animals’, such as they were. Wonder if boar is as tasty eating as behemoth. The last wild one on my world died around... thirty years ago or something? I have read about them and the kind of spears people used to hunt them but well...”

"Yeah that is pretty much exactly what happened. I haven't tried it again afterwards so I am not sure if that was a fluke or not, but you're right, a boar would last us a while. Especially if Bobo cures some of the meat. We could ask Tony to make you a spear, he might know more about what kind would be the best one."

"There's a specialized spear for boars."

That much Nida knew because he didn't really like the idea of it. It wasn't practical in a fight, but not all polearms had to be.

"You use a shorter, heavier stave, a short thin head too, but more like a spear head. Razor sharp of course. And just behind the spearhead by, maybe an inch, you have two protruding wings. That's to keep the boar from running up the spear and goring the hunter. And of course you have to wrap the grip parts with good leather because if you lose your grip..."

Dead.

Bull listens and nods through it. "Sounds like it would be useful when you're fighting one yeah. We should ask him and then go hunting. We are still a long way from summer" and with that any chance to harvest more food.

"And there's nothing like good meat to get you through a winter," Nida agreed. He'd love it. There's something lost when you aren't pitting yourself against nature.

Life almost feels less important given that lack of putting his life at risk.

Bull grins and looks at him. "You know if it is a way to get through a winter you're looking for I got a couple of ideas." He licks his lips. "At least they'll chase the boredom away."

"Oh?" Nida asks, and he does turn to look at Bull, but not soon enough to see him lick his lips.

He full on turns around and walks backwards, fully confident that he won't trip, so he can look at Bull.

"I have a lot of problems with the idea of a boring winter. I've spent almost all of my life in tropical climates. You know, except when work called me to winter ball season in Deling. Miserable. But I got free tuxes. That was nice."

Bull raises an eyebrow, is this guy really not getting that he is being flirted with? Or is Bull's game slacking? Somehow he doubts it is the second.

"Same, jungles to be precise. But I've learned that a boring winter is best spent with company in bed. You can have fun and stay warm all at once. Not to mention stay in shape." He pauses for effect. Then decides to make it really obvious. "You can always hit me up if that is up your alley."

A lot happens at once. First, Nida's eyes go wide because, holy fuck that was a thing that was just said. And with that bluntness that Nida had experienced a few times back home when he was being particularly dense about someone hitting on him. Second, he failed to stop walking backwards.

Third?

He tripped over a rock. Inelegant, embarrassing, and potentially painful. Except, of course, what good trained warrior didn't have some muscle memory to work with. The fall turned into a quick cartwheel ~~was it sad he'd tripped enough that he had to develop muscle-memory catches for when he had a polearm on his back~~ and came to his feet again staring at Bull.

Note to self: stop tripping in front of people. Geez.

"Okay, just to make sure there isn't any cultural miscommunication here, because I've run into a few with the other person from Thedas I've met, did you just suggest sex? And if so know that yeah, I'd take you up on that. Just because a guy should never turn down a possible once in a lifetime experience like having a Qunari keep him warm and well exercised."

Bull can't help but chuckle at Nida's reactions and he is on his way closer to offer a hand when the cartwheel happens and Nida's on his feet again. Ne nods at what the other says.

"Yeah, that is pretty much exactly what I am suggesting." He smiles and then moves to clarify. "I like sex and the more the merrier if you ask me. I am not exclusive or anything and being friends is more important to me." There, now that is out there before any feelings get hurt.

"I'd do more than just keep you warm and exercised though if that is what you want. Satisfied is the word I'd use."

"You merely 'like' sex? That's sorta bad," Nida frowns, but there's a bit of an amused sparkle in his eyes. "See, I really like sex, and I definitely agree with your sentiment. And I have no concern about exclusivity or things like that."

He'll bypass the 'friend' thing. He doesn't have friends. Bull is more a... well, more like a boss. Which he doesn't mind at all either. Only had the hots for his own SO for 5 years, and that guy was straight.

Of course, the claim of 'satisfied' leaves him smirking.

"Strange, Zevran said the same thing, and yet here I am, finding myself strangely peckish. A guy like you? I'd hope you could do a bit better."

"Zevran huh? Well, I mean. He is good from what I hear, but elf is not everyone's taste I guess. Some people like things more meaty." He smirks and then comes closer, reaching out to pull Nida up against him.

"Glad to hear you're down for this whole thing." He pauses, letting a hand trail over Nida's side. "I'd like a chat about what you're into before we do anything though. I like things hard and rough and being in charge but I know not everyone is into that."

"Part of life should be enjoying as many tastes as one can."

Of course what he's getting a taste of now is definitely more meaty. Sure, there was the implication in Zevran that there was more Nida could get into, but here? He tilts his head up enough to smile up at Bull, and he can appreciate how much of a difference in height there is. Difference in size. Difference in a lot of things.

Biting off more than you can chew is a phrase that comes to mind and he ignores.

"I'm a trained mercenary, and I've been in combat training since I was ten. Hard and rough isn't going to break me. In fact, I can't see the point to anything less. Not when looking at a guy like you. I like being told what to do, being physically manipulated. I like the rush that comes with knowing I could get caught in the act. I'm an adrenaline junkie, and that crosses easily into the bed. Normally I have no problem with a bit of blood but... No magic here to heal that up, so I'd probably suggest something a little less than that. And there is nothing better than knowing that I can be restrained by a man."

Actually that gets him smirking. Clearly at a pleasant memory. Or a lot of them actually. Why not share?

"To be honest, a lot of my encounters back home tend to start with sparring matches. There's something intense about being slammed against the mat by someone just a bit better than you, or pinning them yourself. Not that I think I could put you on your ass unless you wanted it. Pinned, covered by a good weight and knowing I'm powerless in front of that."

Then he tilts his head, a hand raising up to pat Bull's coat. That was the one other thing.

"And I like to see my partners. So definitely less layers than this."

"How about ropes? A whip, a little bit of a bruises?" Bull likes this, first of all it is the talking about limits but also the eagerness that Nida is showing is a bit of a turn on. He chuckles at the mention of the sparring matches. "Oh that I know. Some of my first experiences were like from sparring matches. Always fun when you don't know who is going to end up in charge." Not that that will be much of an issue here. Nida is right about that, Bull is pretty sure nobody here could take him down unless they worked together. Or were out for blood. But he knows how it feels to be that way of powerless and as long as you trust the person you are with it is a lot of fun.

"Oh, that won't be a problem. I like being shirtless most of the time."

"Ropes, huh?"

Not something he'd tried before, but as Nida considered it, thought of the sensation of fiber wrapping around him like a lover all it's own, and yeah, if how tight his pants are starting to feel is any indication, he can absolutely get behind that.

"Yeah, that all sounds really good. Never had roles involved before. Or whips. Less guys took that weapon spec at school. Only rule would be not the face and neck."

Because he is not explaining that to his housemates. Who would actually worry.

Bull nods. "Understood, and you know about watchwords and all then?" Easier if he doesn't have to explain the concept. "I like Katoh."

He licks his lips. "And yeah ropes. You can tie people up pretty good, or for that matter just make pretty patterns that don't hinder movement. I am actually looking for someone to be a ... well model... for teaching Bobo."

Watchwords. He's had the 'pleasure' of surveillance duty enough to know the concept. Rich people are kinky.

"Ultima," Nida suggests. Never had one himself, but come on, the worst spell on his world that a normal paramagic user could cast? Great choice. Add in the undercurrent of Ultimecia and that could definitely stop him in his tracks.

Plus the words should be strange enough to each other's ears that they will catch it better.

Of course now that he's watching bull he catches the lip licking and smiles. He might have to get those on him soon.

"And how would this model be rewarded for being pretty for you and your friend? Hypothetically speaking."

Bull laughs. "Anyway you want, pretty thing. You want to be pushed up against the wall and fucked hard afterwards we can fix that, or if what you want is something outside the bedroom we can fix that too. I just can't teach him how to tie someone up and also be the one he ties up at the same time."

He shifts and wraps an arm around Nida, leaning in to kiss him. "But we can figure that out later, hm?"

"Give me a private showing of your skills first. Make sure my training doesn't flip over the whole thing," Nida suggests.

Most likely he'll enjoy it, under the right circumstances. But there is always that chance, that risk when you get into anything that goes against training. He almost stabbed someone when they woke him up when he was on a job and he wasn't expecting it. Bully would probably know well how hard instincts trained that deep in can be.

The rest, though, can definitely wait. Because with Bull that close how can he resist a kiss? Presses himself more firmly against the large man, unashamed that it meant Bull would absolutely feel his growing arousal, because the important thing is those lips.

Bull nods. That he can do. And he knows about the training part. He knows far too well how it is to have some things so under your skin you can't turn them off even if you want to. He smirks when he feels Nida's arousal and he presses against it, giving his ass a squeeze as well. "You want to finish up the patrol so we can deal with this?"

Between Bull pressing against him and the big of a squeeze there, Nida can't help a bit of a moan. Not much, but definitely a hint that Nida is not likely to be a quiet partner.

But Hyne did Bull have to remind him to be an adult?

"Right, we should do that. We did sign up for it. Though I'm pretty certain you had an ulterior motive, boss. See me and Zevran talking did you?"

"Oh yeah." Bull grins at him. "And this isn't entirely a dangerous path, and I checked it out yesterday, so if you want to cut it short..." Yeah he might have been planning for this to happen. "What was it you and Zev said. Climbing the mountain?"

Yeah, he saw. Oh well, Nida doesn't regret it at this moment.

"I deserve credit for not swooning," Nida laughs when Bull asks about the mountain thing. "And I can't say I regret the conversation. If you're okay with dereliction of duty, then by all means, I could use a bit of climbing."

Walking anywhere is of course going to be less than fun in his current state, but he would manage it for the chance to see just what he could get from the large man. He was promised satisfaction after all.

"We could stay right here, but it'll just be quick and dirty and no shedding of layers. Or we can head back to my place. I know what my vote is for but it depends on how desperate you are." Bull gives Nida's ass another squeeze.

"Besides a bed has the benefit that we won't have to move for a long time afterwards."
