a. Initial Arrival
Wynonna hasn't been swimming since she was in Greece.

This water is significantly colder than the Mediterranean, and it's dark, and she is really not loving it. Especially since she doesn't remember jumping in to any water. She remembers sitting with Waverly outside, huddled against the -30 chill in blankets and parkas with the wine keeping them as warm as the fire and talking about where they wanted to be buried. You know, normal sisterly bonding. She thinks she remembers going to bed, but there was a lot of wine so it gets fuzzy after that.

She only struggles for a few moments, before kicking upwards, towards the light, and the moment she breaks the surface she clings to the stone edge, her face a picture of pure panic- but not for herself.

"Waverly?!" she forces out after the water from her lungs. "Waves, baby girl, where are you?!"

She's about to dive back under to start looking for her sister when she hears sounds of life from beyond the well.

b. Sometime later.

She is dry. That's about the most she can say about things that have improved about this situation so far. A change into dry clothes, a quick look through the supplies she had with her on arrival. She's got the red scrubs and a white tank top on, with the scrub pants tucked in to the hiking boots.

Everything about her says New Arrival- the look of confused panic mixed with curiosity, the pristine scrubs, and the fact that she's searching every face she sees for any mark of familiarity.

"I guess?" Wynonna says. "Whatever it is, it's pretty insistent on not letting people touch me. At prettymuch the worst possible times."

She is definitely not pouting.

And by that I mean she is sulking.

"That sounds shitty. What if you take the clothes off? Does it still do that? Is it everyone with red clothes or just you?" Now the gears in his head are turning and he is trying to figure it out.

"If it came off with the clothes I'd have a lot less of a problem with it," she says. "It's just me. Here, I'll just show you," she says, getting up. Without much warning, she swings her legs over his, muscle memory guiding her into an easy straddle, one arm resting on his shoulder as she leans in to kiss him.

She moves faster than with Vasquez, at least, knowing what's coming this time, and moves back before the forcefield popping into existence can throw her off. She stands a few feet from him now.

"Now try to touch me," she says, spreading her arms, palms open. He'll find his hands stopped by the shielding force around her. "I'm sure to someone, this is funny."

He blinks in surprise, about to reach up and wrap an arm around her to kiss her and then she is gone. THe frowns reaching out and straining against the forcefield. Then he pushes harder, trying to break his way through it.

"Damn."

"I know, right? I'd have killed for this like, ten years ago, but now?" She makes a frustrated sigh and slumps back down into her seat. "The fact that it's just me- well, either it's someone's idea of a joke, or I have some deeper issues than porch-weed and casual sex can probably address."

"I mean it would be real handy in a fight but when you don't want it... that sounds like it just sucks. Hm. Maybe it will pass, or maybe it is one of the plants around here or something?"

"Not sure, but I am willing to keep trying, provided I have some partners to call on," she says, and leans back to very obviously look him over again.

"You do look durable."

Bull chuckles at that. "That I am." He leans on the table. "And I'd gladly help you figure this out too. Have you talked to any of the scientists or doctors here? Maybe they know something?"

"This may be hard to believe, but I'm kind of a shitty patient. And I'm not going to bother a doctor out here just 'cause I can't get laid," she says, but then quickly amends, "at least not yet."

"Well if you get desperate enough I am sure you'll end up going to them" He chuckles. "Is this something that is best to do in a bedroom maybe?"

"Probably. When I'm ready to," she says, figuring that answer works for both suggestions. "Though, I mean, we're not limited to bedrooms-" she adds, thoughtfully. "Actually, given the complications and potential for property damage, maybe it isn't."

"Hm. While it is still warm enough we could stay outside or something. I am not really that keen on freezing my balls off in the snow."

"There's always the hot springs," she says. "Which might actually be useful given-" again, she lets her gestures speak for her, indicating just how much bigger he is than her.

She is kinda built a bit like an elf. Tall with a fine bone structure. She's the kind of woman who'd look delicate, if she didn't have as much lean muscle on her. "I mean, I'm pretty flexible but-" she makes a slightly exaggerated pained face.

He laughs. "You're worried I'd break you." He is joking now but part of him isn't. Being a Qunari surrounded by elves and humans it is one of the many concerns he has. "If that is a worry there is a lot of fun we could do that isn't fucking you know. A lot of other ways to get of"

She laughs. "Yes, a lot of ways," she says, grinning. Okay, so she doesn't know what he is, beyond not human. That... doesn't seem to mean the same things here as in Purgatory. This Bull guy hasn't even tried to kill her a little bit. That's a good quality in someone.

And it's not like anyone can touch her anyway. May as well make the most of the flirtation.

"And I don't break. I bend pretty well, if you warm me up right."

"Most people can bend very far if you warm them up right. It is one of the reasons warming up is so much fun. Heck sometimes that is where all the fun lies. You got any specific preferences?"

She grins. "Is this the sexy Minotaur version of the Safe Sane Consensual talk?" she asks, raising an eyebrow. "Not used to guys being that uprfont about it." Well, OK, there had been that almost-year following Nine Inch Nails around. There were... a lot of people that direct about it in that crowd.

"No idea what a minotaur is but yeah. And I like being upfront. It keeps things easy. No playing around wondering if the other likes something or wants to try something if we're honest about it to start with"
