Mary could see Steve had something to say about her choice to just wear the coat and stay in the wet clothes. She waited for him to say something about it and was genuinely surprised when he didn't. She was going to goad him into saying what he wanted to say but she decided against it. She didn't feel like the lecture.

Her grin grew even wider when her brother narrowed his eyes at her. It was easy for her to get a reaction from him. Sometimes she wasn't trying to and didn't welcome the attention but she did like to tease him. She rolled her eyes playfully as he told her that he wasn't going to let her sit back while he does all the work. "I'm more of a supervisor than a do-er." She grinned.

She watched as he smelled himself. "It's bad. You need a shower and a shave as you're starting to resemble a bear." She grinned as she teased him. "And your clothes could likely use a wash."

"Of course you have. Only my brother would be kidnapped and use it as a chance to go camping! There has to be somewhere in this place that you could squat without having to camp in the woods." Mary had no intention to rough it in the woods. She would find somewhere else she could stay. She looked around at their surroundings. The one thing that was very evident to her was the lack of lighting. There was and old-timey feel to the place as well. "So this really isn't some kind of weird nightmare, is it?"
