She gives him a speculative look when he makes the comment about them being Steve's friends. She'd felt that way for a long time, though she can safely say that with Thor and Sam, she knows that they're hers, now. Their future and those events may not be, but both men are, and she hopes to earn that from the others. Still, they had their connections at home with Steve and the Avengers. She's a a dead woman from the past whom they only know because of this place.
