Humming thoughtfully, he eased back in his seat a tad, considering the implication. There was no knowing what was worth discussing and what was worth avoiding. He was from a time well after her last memories however, and that made the decision all the more difficult, not knowing what telling her of future outcomes could mean. Seemed exactly like the thing most people avoided in the novels he used to read, and fiction or not, there always seemed to be a strain of logical truth to the science fiction of old.

“Yeah, I could use a bite,” he answered, instead of answer with regard to the initial matter. Though as an afterthought, he added, “That was quite a bit before what I remember,” to keep up the transparency, albeit selectively.
