"I know," Beverly offers gently, her voice sympathetic this time. She really does understand and she might feel the same way were she in his shoes. Several of her crew would be the same way and if he weren't so severely hurt, she would release him a lot sooner. But he is pretty badly hurt and he needs rest, much as it chafes.
