Hawke considers for another few minutes, letting her gaze wander back to the fire. The flames flickering up and down give her a sense of comfort, small though it is. The sight reminds her of home and if she focuses enough on it, she can almost convince herself that she's staring into a fireplace at the estate. Except that it's much cleaner here. Hilariously.
She misses Bodahn and Sandal. They were constants at the estate, constants in her life. She misses a lot of the way things were.
