After addressing Kira briefly, Sam returns his attention to Graves. He can tell the man is evaluating and weighing his and Sonny's words, but Sam hardly seems swayed by it. He's used to people looking at him like that and he isn't about to let someone he hardly knows dissuade him from what he knows to be right.

He raised an eyebrow at the word 'trust' because he wasn't so sure about that. Steve and Bucky had once trusted each other and they'd been best friends, Sam wasn't sure Credence had that same foundation to go off of and hadn't he been living with Graves. What did that say about him? There was just too much Sam didn't know about the scenario and Graves could tell them whatever he wanted and they didn't have Credence here to disprove or discount what he was saying at all. It just...it rubbed Sam the wrong way.

"Sam Wilson. And I may not know a lot about this Obscurial stuff...heck, my life was pretty normal before getting involved with the Avengers, but powers or not people's mental states don't change all that much when it really gets down to it. And someone who is scared and doesn't know who to trust isn't going to just pop back up because you have two people sweeping the forest and calling his name," Sam paused and then added, "Forests mind you that have been known to change on a whim and we have people here who have been trying to map them out for a year now."
