"I am very special," Isabelle says, giving a pretty smile. In her defense, compared to mundanes and Downworlders, she is special. Shadowhunters are the best of the best, stronger and faster and better. She has angel blood in her veins, and that makes her very special indeed. Maybe these mundanes can't find their way out, but she sure as hell will.

That said, she hasn't been trapped like this before. She's never been in a situation like this before. But she's sure, so sure, that she'll be able to get out. "I'm not playing a game," she says. "I have a war to fight back home. I am getting out."
