Moana brushed away her own tears, not wanting Jyn to see. So much has happened but she hadn't thought it was that important. Suddenly, the memories rushed back and she felt herself stagger from their weight. The heart... Maui... her grandmother.
She pushed the door closed, giving the pair their privacy, before taking a seat on the bed. She pulled the cloak she'd been given over her shoulders and tried to remember all of the details.
"I think I went home. For about a day." Her tone was a lot soft as she thought back to that time. Moana didn't want to tell Jyn that she hadn't remembered. "It was like a dream." She shook her head. "I have nothing from it. I lost the heart." Her voice shrunk as the sense of failing weighs on her. "I have nothing with me to prove that's where I was."
Moana shook her head. "I shouldn't bother you with this."
