There's something heartwarming in earning a smile from Newt, though she tries to deny it. She hadn't forgotten the smile she mustered out of him on the docks, but if you asked her sister she hadn't forgotten any of those details. Tina kept her memories close to her heart, even if her those memories were more painful than they'd be at home. At least at home she had magic and was surrounded by things she knew, here it was different. The familiarity of Queenie helped and so, it seemed, even the smallest of smiles from the man.

She forgets to look bemused at his supposing and goes as far as to relax the hands she had formerly placed against her hips. There's no need to add more to it and she lets it drop in favor of feeling even more sheepish than she had a few minutes prior when she declared she would stay with him only switching to saying she would visit him all the same. If Queenie could see her right now her sister would be in a giggling fit and Tina would certainly refuse to speak to her the rest of the evening.

"I would like that," She finally answered, there's a stinging familiarity here, too, "very much." It's a continuous reminder, but if there was one thing Tina had known it was that regardless of all else it had been nice meeting Newt, getting to know him. To come to understand his creatures and learn about the man. He'd left quickly after that, for obvious reasons, and as much as she had kicked herself for it later she'd been tearful saying goodbye to him. To get the chance to know him--- It's a selfish desire that she's glad for in this place.

Which is scary in itself.

She paused for a moment, uncertain of what else to say. There's something settling that is disconcerting and warming all in itself; Wanting to see Newt. It was a strange thing to suggest. She's glad he looked away, because it keeps her from looking away and instead she cocked her head before speaking again.

"I should be getting back," She offered, worrying on her lower lip for a moment, "but I would certainly like to come see you out here again soon. I'm sure you have no interest in going into the village right now." The last part is said warmly at least, with very little judgement. Like herself she knows he's a creature of habit and it's probably more familiar and comforting for him out here than with people. She wouldn't fault him for that.
