Tina can't help the way her stomach twists in knots. It is hardly as if she hates the man-- the truth was quite the opposite. Tina liked Jacob, not nearly so much as her sister did, but her hesitation was inescapable. She wants to say as much but can't. If she did it would just complicate matters.
