It's a little bit blunt and brusque, sure, and maybe Jacob flinches a little, but he tries to hide it with an easy-going smile, shaking his head. "I got nowhere to be, I lost my shop the minute I got yanked here and I got nothing to do but figure out where the heck I am," he admits freely, overwhelmed, his mind overworked, and he just sort of wants to talk to people.

"It's good to meet you, Tina," he says, giving her a nod of his head. "Look, if I'm bothering you real bad, you can tell me that's why you don't wanna talk to me, you don't have to pretend to care about my work."
