"Not anymore," Queenie replies, her smile openly fond as she finishes stirring the cocoa in a little pot on the stove and reaches for one of the teacups she'd set aside. She lets out slow sigh, her shoulders relaxing beneath the black cotton of her shirt, and then firms her grip upon the handle so she can pour a measure out for each of them.
"I know you're going to be fit to tied over this place, and I know I got lots to tell you, but I'm just so glad you're here," she says as she passes Tina a cup and then settles into one of the chairs at the kitchen table with her own. "That probably means I'm a terrible, selfish person."
It's not like Tina's going to want to be here. Nobody wants to be here.
"Newt's here," she adds, the words pressed casually against the lip of her cup but her eyes watching her sister knowingly. A little sweetener to help the sourness of their new situation go down a bit more easily.
