Sam feels his is pretty warranted. After all, having a jet pack and tech wings was one thing. Having an ability that put him pretty close to flying and, if nothing else, made him feel light as a feather was an entirely OTHER thing. He couldn't wait to explore the possibilities of it -- even if it was only temporary.

At her assurance, Sam steps away and starts scanning the tree line again. He's looking for places to jump to -- he can only get so much height -- and if nothing else he has a talent for finding those places thanks to his prior training. When he sees a clear way up, he jumps and his jump takes him far higher than should be possible.
