Actually, he probably should have thought the "getting down" part out a bit more. How had he been planning to do that prior to this strange turn of events exactly? Sam was usually a little more thoughtful about these things -- though maybe deep down he hadn't actually thought he'd get up to the roof.

"You can...take care of the goat. I'll get myself down. Not like this is my first time stuck on a roof," he replied. Sam peered over the edge, he wasn't sure what had happened--but maybe if he had an ability to get himself up on top, he could have a way to get down as well.

First, though, he wanted to make sure Wanda got the goat down safely.
