Newt doesn't much prefer the company of people, and sticks to the outskirts. He prefers to keep far away from most human populations in general. But this man and his baby peacock, along with the stories of more creatures of this kind have his attention in a way that few manage.

"I---had a friend who helped me with some creatures I looked after where I come from," he offers, sparing a fond thought for Tina. He doesn't know that she is also here, but he will eventually. "If you ever need a second pair of eyes for anything, I'd be pleased to help."
