That's not what he'd been expecting to hear. Honestly, Cougar had been thinking that he might be something of a conquest to Jake. Someone he wanted to bed in order to say that he'd done it. The only problem is that it makes Cougar even more desperate to somehow prevent Jake from falling into this rabbit hole of loving a broken man.
