Peggy blinks when he moves away, but he does return. So, at least she hasn't then been abandoned by one of the first new people she's met here that didn't arrive with her that fateful day. She gestures inside and points to where one of the rugs in the hall is sopping and keeping the water from starting a lagoon-like path into the main room. "This," she says, gesturing outside. "We lift, hang," she adds, miming what they need to do.

And with luck, she won't use all her towels sopping up the mess. She does need to bathe, at some point.
