It hasn't even crossed his mind yet that this is anything but another planet, however strange the circumstances of his arrival. It's strange and desolate, but a lot of planets are strange and desolate. And even kidnapping is fairly familiar to him at this point. He looks at her blankly for a long moment, trying to figure out what to do with the suggestion that they could be someplace entirely different from that galaxy. Beyond the Outer Rim somewhere, sure, much as that sounds like the beginning of a lousy holovid.

"I did notice... Things are missing." He doesn't know how else to put that. What else could encapsulate the vast technological desert he's found himself in. He's not exactly feeling like a productive member of this society so far. Not so many ships to fly.
