"I was thinking parallel North America," Ravi shares, mainly because it's as good as any theory he's going to have about this place. "The parallel being either time or perhaps science didn't catch up quite so quickly here and it still is the 21st century and we're just stuck. Maybe the space travellers are here because in this alternate world, we don't get off the ground and the universe had to put them somewhere," he says.

"It's got some holes," he says of his theory, utterly aware of that.
