"Some might. Some won't, and that's their right. I could understand wanting to be selfish if you were gifted with something potentially life-saving," Helen said. It was not something she'd do, obviously, but she understood the thought process well enough.

"I just hope there's more of the former than the latter so we can get a nice little hospital running in case of emergency."
