"Well, I hate to say that I hope our captors give them to us but I want a chance to help you solve this problem," Helen said. It frustrated her to have little to work on other than keeping them alive but she supposed that, in and of itself, was an admirable task.

"If only we had those materials and access to my laboratory back home. We could really make a go of it."
