Thorfinn nodded in return, pulling the chair out and taking a seat, but sitting sideways so he could face her. He was already done eating and it was easier for him to tell what people were saying when he looked them in the face. He didn't mind hovering, it was just something he never fully kicked once his life went to hell.
"Ja." He spoke quietly, before it clicked he did it again. "Yes, Kate. They are." His english was improving thanks to Jo, he could pull off some small sentences, some things were still just to complex. He was quiet a moment after that, he was finally noticing her face. As beautiful as it was it had changed since they drew a map on the table. She looked tired, tired the way he often felt. He knew that look on others faces. It worried him.
He lifted his fingers up fishing a small bit of faberic from his pocket, it was ripped from the end of a sheet. Placing it down before her he left it to sit. It was the needle, wrapped so it didn't stab him while he walked around. "You tired?" He couldn't help but to inquire even if he shouldn't she just looked a bit rundown.
