It makes him laugh, a soft glimmer of noise in the dully paneled room, as he rolls himself up to sit at the edge of the bed again. Back up out of the dark stories, leaning into Credence's space again.

He tries to draw the shape of four fanning blades over his closed fist: "It's a big machine that flies, but it has a fan on top, so it can go up and down without needing a big runway, the way planes do. You can't put as many people on them, but they're good for landing in small places to help people get out, or taking injured people to hospitals."

The twenties are too far back for him to know what was or wasn't invented in the time between, and what else might require explanation. He knows Credence isn't stupid, he'll get it if Kira talks it out enough, but the gaps in Kira's own education are both of their downfall.
