"It was nice enough." Claire replied somewhat in agreement, the corners of her mouth twitching a little before she looked down briefly. California really hadn't been her home, not like Texas but she didn't talk about that place too often these days.

"How are people settling in?" She asked, glancing up again. "Is there a lot of us here? What sort places have been set up? Do we have stores, a school, a clinic...."
