He breaks into a broad smile, which turns into a sort of relieved laugh. "I'm real. So are you." He can't stop himself from kissing her out of relief. "And you're safe. He tricked you, Emma. You would have walked right into a trap." He hasn't yet been introduced to the concept of differing timelines, and doesn't think that she might not know what he's talking about.
