Curling her fingers around his own, she studies his hands before giving him a gentle squeeze. "And it didn't hurt at all? You're sure?"

She can't imagine that the village would give him the power over fire just to have it hurt him but she can't say that with any sort of certainty either. All she knows is that she doesn't like the idea of him in pain.
