At this point, Tony felt like he'd actually had more interaction with Sam Wilson in whatever setting this counted as than he'd had a chance to gather at home. As such, it left Wilson more or less on '30% not a stranger' status, which was still not really that much to work with, and meant that unless Sam knew him and initiated contact, Tony didn't really have many reasons to beyond the general 'hi' 'hey' 'how's it going' 'fine' &c. Their acquaintanceship was limited enough that it almost meant nothing anyway, and they didn't seem to be running into one another naturally, so. Granted, a little weird given the limited population, but on Tony's end, not entirely abnormal.

Really the most abnormal element came from Wilson being from their own planet - he assumed - and only borderline seeming to recognize him at first. Maybe there was a time discrepancy involved. Honestly, Tony had no idea, and out of the myriad of mysteries in this place at any given time, 'why this one guy isn't acting as familiar with me as thought he might' doesn't really hit any bells.

Anyway.

"Yeah, fine. Toasty, almost. What brings you here?"
