The response was stored away for later. Ren planned to do something about the fountain, but at the moment his knowledge of it was limited to what he had been told and his brief time submerged in it. He would need to watch and examine it further before he decided on a plan of action.

Ren leaned back into the counter, his outward appearance relaxing some small portion as he tried not to broadcast his discomfort. He was unarmed and out of his depth, but unwilling to admit to the latter or suffer the former for long.

"I can't imagine we are here for any positive reason. Being armed and ready would be the smart option." One he intended to take as soon as possible. "Are all of these buildings occupied?"
