np, i've been slow too ♥

"Oh! Well, welcome -- I wasn't sure if maybe you were new, or if I just did not recognise you because you live up here. I'm from the south." The woman waves at the wall, as if gesturing to the other mirror village a few miles south. And then she walks over, approaching him to accept Klaus' invite; but instead of pulling up a second chair, she just drops herself gracelessly to join him on the floor, cross-legged. Completely unfussed. It's actually pretty comfortable, compared to those stiff, heavy Edwardian chairs.

"I can't decide if waking up in the tube or the fountain is worse. The tube sounds terrible, but with the fountain you kind of risk drowning or hypothermia. So it is a hell of a welcome, either way," Brigitte says, dryly. She's cheerful and open enough, but with a touch of gallow's humour. Surely, there had to be a better system than a freezing fountain in the middle of winter.
