"Might be miles, if I've got the scale right. It's definitely not swimming distance, and the kind of waves we're going to see out there wouldn't be able to be handled with a small boat like the one that got fixed up for the dock up north," she answers, doing some mental calculation. "We'd need a proper ship. Not that I know much about that kind of thing, either. It's not in my particular skill set. I've spent some time on ships, but not in that capacity." What capacity she does mean is up for interpretation.
