Kalen moved to take his place but kept watching the color of the coals. He grimaced at being told it would take time to get a blade.

"Well, speed is not paramount. I can wait."

He glances once at Seifer raising an eyebrow. Usually, Kalen would try to play it off as if it was no big deal. But right at this moment, for whatever reason, he chooses honesty.
