Brigitte had eventually heard, of course, about Danny Rand disappearing. She hadn't known the man well, but he had become one of her trainers at the dojo, so this was her first experience with that odd, shifting, unsettled anxiety -- the realisation that anyone, anyone can be whisked away at any moment. Perhaps it was another reminder to hang on all the harder to the people you knew, and to cherish them when you could.

But if she'd been worried about the dojo going abandoned in the man's absence, she's relieved to find that it's taken up new ownership: when she walks in today, she sees Nida in the middle of finishing up Danny's last preparations, overhauling it even more, maintaining the space and adding more practice weapons.

"It's looking good," she remarks from the doorway as she looks in, casting her gaze across his handiwork.
