Malik makes for a quiet, if capable traveling companion. He can keep up with Jacob just fine on the days hiking and doesn't get fussed about the short camping rest. He does, however, noticeably relax the farther from the villages they get.

There's a mission on hand, even if it isn't a particularly exciting or inherently lethal one. Scouting is still good, and it helps settle Malik in to something closer to peace to have that sort of routine back if only for a moment.

"I believe I see the ruins ahead." He says, before looking to the sun to judge how much time they have left. "We should find a camp before taking an initial survey of the site."
