"That's our line of thinking as well. Everyone plays a part and performs certain services. We have hunters, farmers, foragers, weavers, cooks. I even have some animals that are being reared for the village." The wool was what would be essential, though she would soon have to part with some of her animals for slaughter.

He seemed willing to take part in things and not be on his own. She respected that sort of attitude, especially coming from someone that was new.

"That's kind of you, but I don't know if it can be. We don't have much in the way of tools or material. My pipes are damaged, my bedroom on the second floor collapsed into my living room. I don't think there is much that can be done."
