"The wardens haven't shown their faces as of yet," Helen said. She didn't particularly care for that aspect of their new lives; she could respect it a bit better if they'd at least let them know who they were and why they held them. Being held with no answers was more maddening than anything.

"They like to surprise us occasionally with lovely little presents and natural disasters but otherwise, mum's the word on who is actually keeping us here."
