Bruce doesn't think much of her hesitation before reaching for his hand. He led with a handshake because that's what he's accustomed to; maybe where she's from, they don't do it, or do it often. Her grip is impressive. He files that knowledge away with everything else he's been quietly taking in since he arrived.
