Touch was something she missed. So many little unspoken words and meanings in something as simple as setting your hand on another's shoulder and giving them a reassuring look, or fingers to an arm to draw attention. Eddie's hand on her cheek is familiar, that's something 2 would have done, likely, and she leans into it, but her biological human body is reacting in other ways and the tears are starting to fall faster and she just doesn't understand.

She'd never really had a chance to grieve. Just as they were processing he'd died, the Fabrication Machine had been coming to life and it was a race to escape before they suffered the same fate. Then there was the Flying Machine, then there was the fire, and the Seamstress - it feels like something inside her has broken open and she can't stop the deluge, reaching up to grip Eddie's arm because she needs that reassurance that she's not alone.

"1 wanted us to hide away until the Machines just ... stopped." Her voice is rough, thick with emotion, but tainted with a sharp, deep anger. "I escaped to hunt the Beast but I never stopped watching them, watching over them -"
