[Closed] So when I get up I just have ONE cup of coffee

WHO: Stephanie Brown
WHERE: House #9
WHEN: The 17th
OPEN TO: Jason Todd
WARNINGS: None Anticipated

It was a bad sleep night for Steph. She hadn't had any bad nightmares, but that was mostly because she hadn't managed to get to sleep for more than maybe an hour at a time. Every few hours she would get out of bed with a sigh and wander around the house. She would open a window or the door, decide it was too cold and immediately close it again.

Until, around dawn, there was something just outside the door. She paused in the doorway to eye it. It was the same kind of box her staff had come in, which was promising. But it was still disconcerting to find something deposited on the porch with no indication that anyone had actually been there to drop it off.

She approached with caution and, finding her name affixed to the lid, opened it.

The smell that emerged just about knocked her off her feet.

"Jason?" she called urgently into the house, "Jason!" He would want to see this.

When someone shouts your name like that, it's easy to misinterpret the tone as danger, especially if you're the type to find yourself in close proximity with danger, or you've managed to carve out a few hours of sleep, or both. Jason definitely belongs to both of those categories, and he jolts out of bed and the sound of Steph's - distressed? - voice calling for him. He rushes toward the front door - barefoot, hair sticking at awkward angles, clothed in only a pair of teal scrub pants - ready to murder whoever's hassling his roommate.

"Steph? What's wrong? Who do I have to kill."
