"Oh good, I'll judge it openly then. That's bullshite and very controlling." Hawke knows there are any backwards parts of her world. Her country in particular, and each of the cities. There's hardly a place she would call perfect or even overly good. But some things were alright. "We have a lot of different races and nations, they all have their own laws and issues. Some you can't walk into for no good reason." Hawke herself stayed out of politics as much as she could. She is not a big picture type of woman, she's the medium sized picture where hopefully most people could get along.

"It was a relief, yes. I don't like people recognizing me." She didn't like it before, when she was still considered a hero. They got her into all kinds of trouble. She certainly didn't like it when she was being hunted down. Going to the Inquisition willingly was difficult enough, since that meant more people who know her on sight. But then she died, so all's well that ends well.

Dark eyes study him pensively. "So, what was your life story?" He did just put it out there, honestly. She had to ask.
